Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a great game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, unlike most other poker games that players wager against other players. By playing against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about other, more knowledgeable people winning their moolla.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, newcomers should be able to take their time and scheme without having to make hasty selections.
It’s also simpler to enjoy for an extended time with basically a little amount of money since, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards face up and the dealer gets 7 cards face down.
One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
