When will You Going to Understand that Texas Hold’em Poker is All About Seating!
I’ve been betting poker now for about 5 years, I’ve played cards my entire life starting with games of Gin Rummy for pennies with my Grand Mother, to all of the various forms of Brag and general random games such as Go Fish, Crash and one so eloquently called, card on head casino game. I used to always win, whatever casino game we were playing and even though I liked to call it skill, it was very difficult to justify thinking about the randomness of the games we were playing, so I was over joyed to accept I was having a prolonged run of good fortune.
Then came Poker, or a lot more importantly Holdem Poker, made popular by a group of Texas card gamblers in the 60’s and since developed into one of the biggest card phenomena ever witnessed. Poker is totally the new black, it is ultra cool with numerous of the world’s leading stars racing to have their name associated with it. Just a quick scan through the TV channels nowadays and you can not escape from poker, and of course there is the fabled World Series of Poker, the Holy Grail and Mecca all rolled into one for every individual gambler.
So with all of this fresh discovered recognition, with so several Television shows devoted to poker, and magazine and book shelves filled up with high quality material written by the foremost minds on poker, when are individuals going to understand that this casino game is all about position!?
Perhaps I must not have so worked up about this, after all the additional folks who have difficulty with the subtle techniques and strategies needed for succeeding consistently at Hold’em, the much better it can be for everyone else, appropriate? I mean, if they can not be troubled to look at all of the accessible details about why placement is so essential, why should we bother? We must just be glad there is an additional fish at the table!
It is true, we should not encourage idleness with advice and help. Even so, I liken this to a welcoming game of football. Granted the stakes are not so superior, except when you notice a gambler struggling, you assist them, provide them some advice, ultimately showing them a method to love, love and be thankful for the casino game as much as you. I am asking all house gamblers to do exactly the same thing with their poker buddies who have not quite got a handle on the nuances of betting position. Guide them to grow their respect for the game. Certainly, don’t attempt to try this one in your neighborhood gambling establishment, the sharks will not take pleasure in you teaching their meal how to swim!
