Horrible Fortune in Poker
For a game where the majority of participants occasionally consider good luck, there are tons of folklore in poker. When you say that an individual was lucky in that poker tournament they captured, be careful of how you mention it. For instance, if you mention that you were unlucky, your fortune may not change.
Ok, that might sound a bit ubsurd, but poker is a game loaded with superstitions. Did you know that if you’re gambling a game with 2 different decks and you’re asked to select the deck, you should always pick the deck of cards that is the furthest away from you? Or, what If you have a streak of terrible cards, you have to hang out on a hankerchief to destroy your poor luck? It is actually considered good luck to blow through a deck of cards while they’re being shuffled.

- You can alter the run of cards by walking around your chair 3 times.
- The most beneficial seat at the poker table looks at the door.
- The most detrimental chair has its rear to a fireplace.
- When switching spots, you need to constantly do so following the clock.
- The unluckiest poker card is the 4 of clubs.
- It’s most unlucky to sit with your legs crossed at the poker table.
- Sun is a poor day for playing cards.
- The 13th is also a terrible day, despite when it falls during the week.
